About me: Emily grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she loved being active and spending time outside with her sister, riding their horses, Teton and Annie Oakley. Emily participated in swimming, track, and rodeo in high school, and continued to compete in track and field at the college level where she competed in the heptathlon. She continues to passionately pursue the outdoors with biking, hiking, skiing, and running.



Emily's undergraduate education consisted of two Bachelor degrees in Exercise Science and Spanish from Hope College in Holland, Michigan in 2015. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2018. During her graduate education, she completed three competitive clinical placements at:

Emily continued her career with an additional year of study to become a specialist in orthopedic physical therapy through a residency at the University of Utah. During this year, she taught in their Physical Therapy graduate program, as well as, practiced in their Orthopedic Center and provided community outreach through the free health clinic.
After her residency, Emily then moved back to her hometown of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she practiced in an outpatient clinic for several years. During this time, she loved working with competitive and recreational athletes of all ages, as well as continue her community outreach.
Emily has now returned to Coeur d'Alene, bringing with her the experiences from working at the University of Utah and within the competitive athletic and aging populations of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She looks forward to continuing to help patients reach their goals here in Northern Idaho.

About Me: Alex is a north Idaho native, born and raised in Hayden. She grew up enjoying all that north Idaho has to offer, she loves snowboarding in the winter and still loves to be on the boat all summer long! She played basketball and volleyball in high school. Since high school sports She has taken up a love for running and weight lifting. She continues to soak up all of the activities that north Idaho has to offer with hiking, snowboarding, boating, and running.



Alex’s undergraduate education consists of a Bachelors in Exercise Science and Health from the University of Idaho. She then went on to pursue a Masters degree of Movement and Leisure Sciences from the University of Idaho. Her thesis was focused on complimenting a physical therapy plan of care with community fitness classes to allow patients to plug into a community and transition from PT to community based fitness.
Upon completion of her masters she went on to receive a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Oregon State University Cascades in Bend Oregon; where she completed 3 competitive and comprehensive clinical rotations:

After school, she moved back to her hometown of Hayden, Idaho bringing her experience in school and clinical rotations to Elevated Physical Therapy and Wellness. She is a fitness-forward clinician who brings a wide array of experience with different patient populations to North Idaho. Dr. Olivia Zaharie, PT DPT

About Me: Olivia is proudly a Coeur d'Alene native, born and raised in the Idaho panhandle. She is an outdoors enthusiast, enjoying the many hikes, lake activities, skiing and exploration our beautiful area provides. Being raised in the SDA community, she has had the opportunity to experience international outreach programs, including medical mission trips to Borneo, Lebanon, and multiple locations in South America, directing her passion for physical and mental wellness integral to physical therapy.



Olivia's undergraduate education consists of time spent at our own NIC, as well as Walla Walla Community College, with credits eventually leading to a Bachelors in Health Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Andrews University, located in Michigan, in 2020. Here she gained a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
After graduating, she has gained invaluable and extensive experience in a variety of clinical and educational positions, fostering a well rounded and extensive knowledge base well suited to address a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, and chronic pain based patient diagnoses. Settings have included inpatient hospital rehab, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient orthopedics and chronic pain, home health, and an educational position as a professor at Walla Walla University.
In practice, Olivia is passionate about treating her patients to live life to the fullest through mobility in order for them to enjoy our beautiful North Idaho as much as she does. Patients appreciate her approachable communication style, hands on techniques, and commitment to empowering them with knowledge and tools for long term success. Olivia strives to create a supportive environment where every patient feels heard, motivated, and confident in their recovery journey.

About Me: Laura is passionate about helping people get back to what they love, whether it's returning to a sport or simply playing with their kids without pain. Her goal is to empower her patients to heal so they can thrive in every phase of life. She believes in a holistic approach to rehabilitation that addresses the whole body. Her sessions incorporate mindful movement, hands-on care, and education to help patients understand their bodies and how to optimize their function. Dr. Laura is committed to working with complex cases and chronic pain that hasn't responded to traditional treatment. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help people find solutions and get back to living life to the fullest.



Dr. Laura's journey to physical therapy began with a love for movement as an avid yogi and outdoor enthusiast. In her search for a deeper understanding of the human body, she pursued a career in physical therapy, graduating from the University of Utah in 2013.
After graduation, she gained valuable experience working in various settings, including sports, orthopedic, and pelvic health clinics. She had the unique opportunity to serve as the physical therapist for a professional ballet company, where she treated a wide range of injuries and helped dancers return to the stage. This experience, along with her work in other orthopedic settings, gave her a deep understanding of how to rehabilitate injuries and improve athletic performance.

While her professional background includes a focus on women's health, her diverse experience has given her the tools to treat a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, from acute injuries to complex, long-standing pain. As a mother of two boys, she understands the challenges of balancing personal wellness with a busy life. She is dedicated to helping her patients find the time and resources to prioritize their health so they can get back to what matters most.
